Morgan State's DeWayne Jackson has earned the StatSheet MEAC Player of the Week for the week ending January 16th. StatSheet's MEAC Freshman of the Week goes to Luka Radovic from South Carolina State. Finally, Avery Moore from Florida A&M has won StatSheet's MEAC 6th Man of the Week.

Jackson led the entire MEAC in scoring (28.0 pts per game) and three pointers (5.0 per game). He also put up big numbers in both rebounding (4.5 per game) and shooting (60%). The Morgan State junior led his team to unfortunate losses to Savannah State and Norfolk State.

Jackson led the Bears in scoring with 23 points and added 5 rebounds in a 57-55 loss to Savannah State. That was followed by a team-leading 33 points plus an additional 2 blocked shots in a 90-89 loss to Norfolk State.

This is the first StatSheet MEAC Player of the Week award for DeWayne Jackson. However, he has received an honorable mention. The runner-up this week is our own Logan Wiens. Honorable mention goes to Norfolk State senior Kyle O`Quinn.
